South Pars refineries on high alert for maximum gas production

SHANA (Tehran) – The director of coordination and production oversight at the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) announced that new records have been set for gas delivery from South Pars to the national grid.

With a new cold front approaching the country, South Pars refineries are on high alert to maximize gas production, said Mohammadreza Julaei.

Julaei, speaking at a production meeting on Monday, emphasized that precise planning, coordination, and collaboration among refinery managers and staff play a crucial role in increasing production and ensuring the stability of the country's gas supply.

Julaei also stressed the importance of adhering to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards across the 13 South Pars refineries.

He noted that the significance of industrial safety and health within the complex is undeniable, and identifying potential risk factors while implementing preventive measures is essential to avoid accidents.

The director called on citizens to help maintain the stability of the national gas network by managing and conserving their gas consumption.
