According to the company, Sam Sarani-Asl reported that, through the efforts of the company’s experts, the third unit at the Dehshir Gas Pressure Boosting Facility on the eighth national pipeline in Yazd Province was successfully launched and put into operation within the area of Iran Gas Transmission’s Region 2.
Sarani-Asl noted that the Dehshir facility includes three turbo-compressor units (3+1 configuration) with a total capacity of approximately 110 million cubic meters per day, an input pressure of 970 psi, and an output pressure of 1,305 psi. He said that, per the scheduled plan, the third turbo-compressor unit—with a capacity of 35 million cubic meters per day—was activated on the eighth national pipeline on Sunday.
The project director added that the first and second units of the station had become operational in March, and with the addition of the third unit, the Dehshir facility now has all three units in service.
Sarani-Asl stated that the activation of the third unit completes gas transmission capacity in this section of the eighth national pipeline, significantly enhancing both the stability of Iran’s gas network and the flexibility of transmission operations. He emphasized that this achievement resulted from the collaboration of all stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, Region 2 Gas Transmission Operations personnel, and relevant management at Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company.
