Behnam Mirzaei stated that the Shahid Qorbani-Motlaq (Dehshir) gas booster facility, with an approximate capacity of 110 million cubic meters per day, is equipped with four scrubber rows, turbo compressors and air coolers.
He added that the station entered operation following the successful 72-hour test of units 66 and 67.
Mirzaei noted the use of domestically manufactured turbo compressors and other equipment in the station. The Dehshir gas booster station, located in Yazd Province at kilometer 630 of the eighth national gas pipeline, was constructed on a 9-hectare site and operates in a 1+3 configuration.
The station includes four MAPNA turbo compressors, each turbine with an ISO power of 25 MW, increasing the inlet gas pressure from 970 psi to 1,305 psi.
According to the report, key features of the station include maximizing engineering expertise, using Iranian-made equipment such as turbo compressors, scrubbers, air coolers and domestic control systems, as well as employing air-operated automatic valves to enhance safety and reduce environmental pollution.
