Fatemeh Mohajerani in a Farsi post wrote on her personal X account: "Air pollution is already concerning enough; the reports about the poor quality of gasoline in the country have caused further concern. The head of the Department of Environment is closely following the issue of gasoline quality. After discussions with the Minister of Petroleum, it has been confirmed that most of the gasoline produced in the country meets Euro 4 standards."
