Last Gas Compressor of Phases 22-24 Online

TEHRAN (Shana) – The operator of the development project of phases 22 to 24 of South Pars Gas Field said the last gas turbo-compressor of the phases' refinery has been successfully commissioned.

According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Ali Asghar Sadeghi stated: “In order to obtain the necessary preparation for the stable supply of fuel in winter, the last turbo-compressor of the refinery of phases 22 to 24 was put into operation.”

He said that the gas transmission unit of the refinery of phases 22 to 24 includes 6 turbo-compressors for sending methane to the national trunkline.

The operator of phases 22 to 24 of South Pars announced that gas production capacity of the project would be 56 million cubic meters per day, and said: “With the entry of gas into the refining and gas processing lines, in addition to producing hydrocarbon products such as gas condensate, liquefied gas, ethane and sulfur, a daily capacity of 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas will be sent through the 42-inch pipeline to the national gas transmission network.”

South Pars phases 22-24 development plan is aimed at producing 56 million cubic meters of rich gas per day, 75,000 barrels of gas condensate per day, 1.5 million tons of liquid liquefied petroleum gas (propane and butane) and one million tons of ethane to feed petrochemical plants and a daily production of 400 tons of sulfur.
