According to a report by the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone’s public relations office, Mohammad Saeidian emphasized the refinery’s successful performance under challenging conditions, stating that, despite limitations, the facility achieved stable and high-quality production while fully complying with safety and environmental standards and utilizing domestic specialists.
He highlighted the refinery’s commitment to meeting customer requirements, noting that in addition to continuous monitoring and precise sampling by the lab unit, certifications are regularly obtained from accredited laboratories to ensure the highest product quality.
Saeidian said production flexibility is key to maintaining stability and pointed to a series of corrective measures, including major repairs at power substations, upgrades to amine pumps, steam line optimization for reboilers, and the use of domestically produced molecular sieves. These efforts, he said, have improved efficiency and shortened overhaul durations.
The manager also underscored the importance of improving cybersecurity and control systems, noting that enhancements in monitoring, cyber defense, and the procurement and installation of new equipment—including a blower in Unit 108—have significantly bolstered the refinery’s control infrastructure.
He credited local human resources for maintaining operations, particularly during disruptions such as the 12-day war, when flight restrictions were in place. According to Saeidian, local personnel ensured uninterrupted production throughout the crisis.
Ongoing workforce training is a key pillar of sustainable production, he said, adding that specialized training programs held at the Shahid Beheshti Training Center in Jam, along with online and in-person sessions, have continuously improved employees’ skills and knowledge.
Saeidian concluded by highlighting effective collaboration with knowledge-based firms and reaffirmed the refinery’s commitment to continued gas production through domestic expertise. He noted that with major maintenance scheduled to begin on Sept. 13, 2025, existing technical issues will be resolved to help ensure a warm and secure winter for Iranian citizens.
