Gas Processing Rises 6% Fajr Jam Refinery in H1

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company announced that in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, 10.5 billion cubic meters of gas was processed in the complex, which is an year-on-year increase of 6% for the plant.

According to the National Iranian Gas Company, Abdolsamad Najafi said: "The company's overhaul operations are also being completed and the refinery will be ready to produce maximum gas in the winter and the second half of the year."

He added: "Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company in the first 6 months of this year, despite the limitations caused by the widespread spread of coronavirus, was able to complete an important part of the overhaul of operational units with the efforts of its partners, especially in technical, operational and support departments."

The CEO of Fajr Jam Gas Refining Company continued: “The overhaul of the company's sweetening units was done according to the plan and they are ready to supply winter gas with full readiness.”

Najafi added: "The company also produced a total of 1.2 million barrels of gas condensate and nearly 8,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas in the first half of this year and has fulfilled its obligations."
