Fuel supply holds firm despite enemy disruption attempts

SHANA (Tehran) — Oil minister said enemy efforts to disrupt the country’s fuel distribution network during the Third Imposed War failed, particularly in northern provinces, due to rapid response measures and contingency planning.

Speaking during a virtual session with members of Parliament on Sunday, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said the objective of the attacks was to interfere with fuel deliveries across the country, but authorities successfully maintained supply operations.
Paknejad said oil industry personnel were deployed immediately after the attacks, carrying out operational measures that helped contain and manage the crisis.
The minister, who attended the session to provide lawmakers with an update on the state of Iran’s oil sector, outlined the steps taken to ensure fuel availability for various sectors during the conflict. He said the measures prevented major disruptions to the country’s fuel distribution system.
Paknejad also called for greater public cooperation with the government and the Oil Ministry to promote more efficient fuel consumption and support efforts to maintain energy stability.
