Speaking Monday, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said authorities are working to return damaged facilities to production on an accelerated timetable.
Paknejad noted that parts of the country’s energy infrastructure were targeted during the conflict, affecting the volume of natural gas available for delivery to the national grid as well as other products across the energy supply chain.
Despite those impacts, he said reconstruction work has continued at a strong pace and has exceeded initial projections, with efforts focused on restoring operations as quickly as possible.
