NIOC: Oil industry did not halt amid immediate threats

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) described Operation "True Promise 3" as a symbol of the Islamic Republic of Iran's defensive strength and the nation’s decisive response to enemy aggression.

Hamid Bovard praised the resilience of oil industry workers, emphasizing that despite enemy threats, operations continued uninterrupted, with no disruption to the country’s vital needs.

According to the NIOC, the message from Bovard reads as follows:

"Dear and hardworking colleagues of the National Iranian Oil Company,

Greetings,

Not long ago, our beloved Iran was the scene of both bitter and glorious events—bitter because the enemies of this land once again attacked, unjustly martyring women, children, and some of our most distinguished figures in the military and nuclear fields; and glorious because the great Iranian nation, as always, inspired by the teachings of Ashura and the enduring slogan 'Never to humiliation,' delivered a swift, decisive and prideful response to this blatant aggression.

Operation True Promise 3 was a clear demonstration of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s defensive power—a power that this time was made unmistakably evident to the world, particularly the occupying Zionist regime. The overwhelming and precise missile response was so extensive and effective that for days, underground shelters became the only refuge for Zionist settlers, depriving them of sunlight.

During these critical days, when the shadow of threat loomed over the country, thanks to divine grace, the cooperation of government officials and the Ministry of Oil, and most importantly, the tireless efforts of you, our valued colleagues across the National Iranian Oil Company, all operations continued without interruption. This achievement would not have been possible without your solidarity and perseverance.

The continuous convening of crisis committees at the NIOC headquarters and its subsidiaries, along with effective decision-making in operational and support sectors, played a key role in successfully navigating the challenges.

In closing, I sincerely thank our dedicated colleagues stationed in operational and high-risk areas—noble individuals who, driven by Iranian-Islamic values, prevented the enemy from succeeding in its malicious goals for even a moment, ensuring no disruption to the critical processes of oil and gas production and export. By God’s grace and your unwavering efforts, the country’s vital needs were fully met, and the enemy once again failed in its sinister objectives.

As we mourn during the days of grief for the Master of Martyrs (Imam Hussein (PBUH)), we honor the memory of Iran’s noble martyrs, especially the revered martyrs of recent days. With faith in the wise leadership of the Leader, we are confident that the promise of the illegitimate Zionist regime’s downfall, through the struggle of Iran’s great nation and its powerful armed forces, is within reach. God willing."
