In a letter addressed to Bovard, Al Ghais extended congratulations on behalf of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and in his personal capacity, expressing confidence in the Iranian official’s experience in the oil industry and understanding of the country’s energy sector and development priorities.

“I am confident that Your Excellency's extensive experience in the oil industry, together with your deep understanding of Iran's energy sector and national development priorities, will guide the continued success and growth of the country's energy sector,” Al Ghais wrote.

He also assured Bovard of his full support and that of the OPEC community, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration between the organization and Iran.

Al Ghais expressed his readiness to work closely with the caretaker minister to further strengthen relations between OPEC and the Islamic Republic of Iran, wishing him success during his tenure.
