Yahya Feyzi said the refinery received and processed 7.095 billion cubic meters of gas during the period, up from 6.017 billion cubic meters a year earlier. That represents an 18% increase in output.
Feyzi said the figure is the highest gas intake for the complex in any comparable six-month period over the past 10 years. He attributed the achievement to a series of technical and operational strategies and plans.
He credited round-the-clock work by employees, including shorter turnaround times for major overhauls. Repairs on operational units were completed in just 25 days, and preventive full-shutdown maintenance was carried out in only four days. He said these measures played a key role in the record.
Feyzi added that optimized operational processes, improved equipment efficiency and stronger technical and operational oversight also contributed to the stable and unusually strong output.
He said the measures were aimed at keeping the refinery running and ensuring maximum readiness to provide a stable supply of gas to the country during the cold months of the year.
