Media urged to showcase national industrial achievements

SHANA (Tehran) – Government Spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani emphasized the crucial role of media in highlighting the country’s industrial achievements to the younger generation.

Speaking at a meeting with local media representatives in Bushehr Province on Monday, she stated that showcasing major oil, gas, and petrochemical industries as symbols of national progress is a key responsibility of the media.

Mohajerani stressed the media’s role in informing the public, shaping opinions, and educating society. She called on media outlets to rely on credible sources to foster hope and optimism within the community.

Highlighting the importance of promoting national accomplishments, she reiterated that media should play a pivotal role in introducing the country’s industrial achievements to the new generation.

She also dismissed claims about air pollution in Asaluyeh, assuring that the government is actively addressing environmental issues in the region through precise planning.

Oil industry ready to fund Asaluyeh water projects

Sakhavat Asadi, CEO of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, announced that the oil industry is fully prepared to provide the necessary funding for water-related projects in Asaluyeh.

He confirmed that funds have been allocated for water infrastructure, dialysis centers, maternity wards, and a 110-bed hospital in Asaluyeh. Additionally, projects such as the construction of the Sirab-Jam road, with a budget of 150 billion tomans, are underway.

Asadi added that over 600 billion tomans have been approved for the construction of a new hospital in Kangan, while 100 billion tomans have been allocated for the renovation of the existing hospital in the region.

He also noted that 1,530 social responsibility projects, valued at 5.8 billion tomans, are being implemented across Bushehr Province. The organization’s strategic council has committed to projects worth 730 billion tomans in four southern counties, with an additional 700 billion tomans approved for the next year.
