Sustainable gas supply achieved through oil industry staff's efforts

SHANA (Tehran) – The Director-General of Public Relations at the Ministry of Oil stated that the sustainable supply of gas during this year's cold season is the result of the intensified efforts of South Pars employees. He emphasized the need to continue these efforts.

Majid Boujarzadeh, speaking on Monday during a visit by Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, to the SPQ1 platform in South Pars, highlighted the daily production of over 700 million cubic meters of rich gas from this field.

He noted that the extracted gas condensates from this shared field are sent to Bandar Abbas as feedstock for the Persian Gulf Star Refinery, which supplies approximately half of the country's gasoline.

Boujarzadeh added that Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad has consistently emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating the efforts of oil industry workers across the country.

He stated that it is the duty of public relations departments in executive agencies to accurately and promptly reflect the achievements of the oil industry.

The Director-General stressed that maintaining the country's energy stability is achieved through the relentless efforts of oil industry workers. He noted that these efforts have doubled during this winter, as the country faces unprecedented cold weather.
