Zahra Khodadadi praised the performance of the oil minister (Mohsen Paknejad), describing it as positive and satisfactory.

She said, “From the very beginning, when Paknejad was chosen to lead the Ministry of Oil, we were hopeful about his performance because he comes from within the oil industry and has a deep understanding of it.”

She added, “The energy imbalance is not an issue of today, three months ago, or even a few years ago. This challenge has developed over many years due to past mismanagement. Certain measures should have been taken in the past to address the energy imbalance, but unfortunately, they were not, leading us to this point.”

The lawmaker emphasized, “I believe that if someone else were in charge of the Ministry of Oil today, they could not have performed better than Paknejad. He has made every effort to control or reduce the energy imbalance and has taken significant steps in this regard so far.”
