Rouhollah Motefaker-Azad noted that the government, including the Oil and Energy Ministries, performed well during the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime against Iran.
He stated that valuable efforts were made in managing energy across electricity, gas and gasoline sectors, while the public’s cooperation with officials—especially in observing energy consumption—was exemplary.
The MP emphasized that proper management by the government and relevant ministries enabled Iran to successfully navigate the imposed war—which could have caused psychological crises—without the slightest disruption. “This serves as a beacon for the future, ensuring the country’s affairs remain stable during crises, war, peace and calm,” he said.
The Parliament board member added that the Energy Committee played a key role during the war by implementing precise planning. “The commission maintained close coordination with relevant ministries, supporting their duties through oversight. Even in difficult conditions, its members stood by the ministries,” he said.
