The manager of information technology and communications at NIORDC, Abbas Basafa, made the remarks in an interview with Shana, adding the center will spread transparency and online monitoring.

He further said that NIOPDC’s department of information technology and communications took part at Shahid Rajaee Festival last year and managed to acquire the first rank in oil industry by realizing 95.6 percent of the smart government development indicators.

According to him, online monitoring will play a noticeable role in preventing fuel smuggling and transparent distribution of oil products.

“As the second phase of this project, we will establish management dashboards and in the third phase artificial intelligence technology will be deployed for analyzing data.”, he concluded.
