Sustainable gas production attributed to SP employees’ efforts

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex highlighted recent production records, stating that work and production are central to the country’s economic development and progress.

He emphasized that the employees of this complex are pioneers in driving production growth and prosperity in Iran.

Gholamabbas Hosseini, speaking during a meeting with representatives of the labor union from across the South Pars refineries on Sunday, noted that sustainable production is one of the most significant missions of this strategic national entity. He stressed that committed, skilled, and expert human resources are the most critical factor in this sector.

Hosseini described the South Pars Gas Complex employees as the primary soldiers on the economic front, leading the nation’s prosperity. He added that recognizing and honoring this dedicated workforce, improving their satisfaction, and elevating their status are key responsibilities for management. He asserted that addressing these issues effectively boosts productivity and enhances production.

The CEO mentioned that numerous meetings have been held with labor union representatives, the CEO of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, senior officials from the Ministry of Oil, and the National Iranian Gas Company. He stated that, as a result, their demands have been reviewed and followed up at both the National Iranian Gas Company and the Ministry of Oil levels.

Hosseini emphasized that all South Pars Gas Complex managers, through unity and collective wisdom, are focused on a single goal: resolving workers’ issues. He expressed confidence that significant achievements would be realized in the near future. He also noted that extensive oversight is being conducted in the welfare services sector across the nine phases of the South Pars refineries, with all matters being closely monitored.

He welcomed the legitimate concerns of the valued contracting workforce, expressing the belief that problems and demands should be resolved within the “family.” He expressed hope that many issues would soon be finalized and implemented.

The CEO highlighted that over 12,000 skilled, creative, and efficient workers are currently playing a vital role in key production, maintenance, and support sectors, contributing significantly to the quantitative and qualitative improvement of the South Pars Gas Complex. He concluded that workers, as noble pioneers in production, hold the primary share in the advancement, growth, and economic development of the country.
