Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery Yielding 1,500 t/d of Sulfur

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company said the plant was currently producing 1,500 tons of sulfur per day.

According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Yahya Feizi said: “Smoothing the arrival of investors into the domestic sulfur market with the approach of preventing the sale of raw sulfur and converting this item to a higher added value is one of the important measures of the refinery to comply with the Leader’s instructions regarding economic resilience and attention to domestic production.”

In addition to its main mission of producing and supplying gas, Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery produces by-products such as sulfur, and its bentonite sulfur fertilizer has been very well received by farmers in the market. On the other hand, with the launch of Shahid Soleimani Sulfur Complex in the operational area of ​​Khangiran, we are witnessing the arrival of a huge number of private sector investors in this area.”

The CEO of Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refining Company stated that several private companies with an investment of 3,000 billion Rials and €2 million have received molten sulfur and produce items such as sulfur granules, sulfur pastilles, bentonite granules and bentonite pastilles, which has created jobs for 150 people.
