According to the National Petrochemical Company, Hassan Abbaszadeh spoke at the fourth HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) managers' meeting of petrochemical holdings on Sunday (July 19), praising the cooperation of petrochemical companies in implementing directives during the recent 12-day imposed war. He stated that meeting the needs of downstream industries must remain a key strategic priority under all circumstances.
Abbaszadeh noted that effective and continuous communication among CEOs, incident commanders, and HSE managers during the recent conflict led to strong coordination across the petrochemical sector. He added that petrochemical companies maintained security and stable production by adhering to all issued directives, ensuring operational continuity at production facilities.
Emphasizing the need for vigilance, the CEO stressed that HSE and passive defense managers at petrochemical holdings and companies must remain fully alert and prepared in line with current directives and regulations. He also highlighted the importance of training and upgrading HSE units while equipping them with necessary technologies and equipment.
Abbaszadeh pointed to the critical role of the National Petrochemical Company’s production control and HSE management in aligning petrochemical companies during the 12-day conflict. He affirmed that the company, as the government’s representative, supports all petrochemical projects and complexes and is ready to cooperate with all industry stakeholders.
