During a ceremony on Wednesday to hail Tamkar Gas Equipment Company for carrying out the project, Christoph Grabmayr, Austrian Embassy's Commercial Counselor in Tehran, said that it was an honor to witness the global initiative to showcase projects to improve people’s lives.
He added that individuals and organizations involved in trying to protect the environment should be praised to show them that their work and endeavors are always protected and respected.
The Austrian official in Tehran further said: "We must also highlight the winners of these awards and their activities.”

Grabmayr, arguing that there is a close link between the Energy Globe Award and Iran, said that the award had been held in Iran two times before and the projects that received the award were high quality projects.
Tamkar has so far collected 60 million tons of gas in Parsi Oilfield which is a greatest achievement in the area by a private company in Iran. The company also collected nearly 1,000 tons of gas condensates and sells them to petrochemical plants as feedstock.
