Jakarta Seeks Oil, Gas Cooperation with Iran

TEHRAN, July 30 (Shana) – Indonesia has called on Iran to remove impediments to expansion of the two-way ties in the oil and gas sectors.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour and Indonesia’s deputy minister for fiscal and monetary coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Bobby Hamzar Rafinus, in the meeting consulted on mutual economic cooperation in the post-sanction era.

On July 24, Rahimpour embarked on a visit to Singapore and Indonesia in order to attend the joint consultative political and economic meetings with both important Asian trade partners of Iran.
