The president specifically expressed sympathy for those killed in strikes on schools, hospitals, residential buildings and other sites, saying such actions disregard international law.

Pezeshkin also extended gratitude to Iranians for their continued presence and unity during difficult times, praising those who defend the nation's territorial integrity regardless of their background.

He called for setting aside differences to defend the country, and dismissed any notion of unconditional surrender as a fantasy enemies must abandon.

The president reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to international law and human rights principles, calling on others to do the same.

Pezeshkian apologized to neighboring countries for recent attacks launched from Iranian soil in response to hostile actions, explaining the strikes were a reaction to the loss of Iranian leaders and military personnel.

He reiterated Iran’s desire for peace and stability in the region, describing neighboring nations as brothers.

Pezeshkian announced a decision by the provisional leadership council, communicated to the armed forces, barring attacks on neighboring countries unless Iran is attacked first. He emphasized diplomacy as the preferred means of resolving disputes.

While acknowledging the country is in a wartime stance, the president vowed to prevent hardship for the people as much as possible.

He called for national unity and warned regional actors against aligning with imperialist powers or serving the interests of Israel and the United States, which he described as bullying and genocidal.

Pezeshkian urged dialogue to resolve differences, cautioning against becoming tools for foreign agendas.
