Iran's refining industry has done its best to blunt the impact of unjust sanctions that have been slapped on the industry. It has also changed threats to opportunities to develop technical knowhow. Proof of such development may be seen in the construction of refineries, development of refining facilities, manufacturing equipment for the refineries and even development of necessary catalysts, all despite sanctions.
