Minister’s assistant’s emphasis on petchem chain value’s completion

SHANA (Tehran) – The oil minister’s assistant pointed to Iran’s petrochemical infrastructure development in the past three decades and emphasized the completion of its chain value.

On the sidelines of her visit to the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025) on Thursday, Marzieh Joda noted that while the petrochemical industry has faced stagnation in infrastructural development it is essential to move towards the development of the downstream sectors products chain value.

She counted the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries as one of the best companies in the Middle East and stated that it is hoped that this company improves its place in the country and in the Middle East with the dedication of its human resources and precise planning.

Joda reminded that this company has presented solid plans especially in the downstream sectors that if executed can lead to products with high rates of added value

The four-day event runs from May 8 to May 11 at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds, open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
