Abbas Asadrouz on Thursday, during the first day of the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025), highlighted the company's central role in Iran's oil export chain, stating that expanding terminal operational and infrastructural capacities requires investment from both domestic and foreign partners.
During his tour of the exhibition's specialized booths and discussions with energy sector stakeholders, Asadrouz said: "IOTC, as the final and critical link in the chain from production to export of crude oil, gas condensates, and petroleum products, plays a key role in achieving the oil industry's economic goals."
Referring to the need for modernization and expansion of the country's export terminals, he added: "Increasing storage capacity, upgrading marine loading equipment, and enhancing safety systems are among our top priorities in development plans, which cannot be achieved without investor support."
Asadrouz described the oil exhibition as a golden opportunity to introduce investable projects and establish constructive partnerships with the private sector, saying: "The path to development runs through investment. At Iran Oil Terminals Co., relying on local expertise and knowledge, we are ready to continue this journey alongside domestic and international investors."
This year's exhibition, running from May 8 to 11, features 2,200 domestic and international companies, senior executives, experts, and energy sector stakeholders. IOTC is showcasing its achievements, priority projects, and collaboration opportunities in oil exports and maritime services through a specialized booth.
