On Thursday, May 8, in the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025) opening ceremony, referring to the oil minister’s sayings in the ceremony, Abbas Papizadeh said that what has been told about investment in the oil industry’s sector is hopeful as one of the most important and major needs of the country is the issue of domestic and foreign investments.
Noting the fact that the barriers for domestic investments must be removed and attractions for foreign investments must be created in the country, he added that the oil industry plays a key role in the country’s development and progress and any amount of investment in the oil industry will inevitably result in increase in county’s incomes.
The MP emphasized the importance of reducing crude oil sales and replacing it with production with added value in the oil and petrochemical industry and affirmed that an increase in country’s incomes will create opportunities to further develop foundations in different sectors such as energy, transportation, water, electricity, etc.
Papizadeh stated that fortunately the oil minister has practical plans in regards to the development of the oil industry that we hope be executed in the remaining three years of the fourteenth government.
