Saman Qodousi, the exhibition's director, welcomed Parliament members, senior oil industry executives, ambassadors, and foreign representatives at the opening ceremony. He emphasized that Iran's oil sector is a key driver of the country's economy, providing a platform for industry leaders to showcase their latest achievements and engage in direct, face-to-face networking.
Qodousi noted that companies from China, Russia, Spain, Italy, the UK, Switzerland, South Korea, Turkey, India, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, France, Germany, and Brazil are participating in the event.
The gathering serves as an opportunity for knowledge exchange, business connections, and highlighting the accomplishments of Iran's oil and gas sector.
As head of public relations at the National Iranian Oil Company, Qodousi highlighted that the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds hosts this prestigious event annually. Due to overwhelming demand, five new exhibition halls were added this year to accommodate more participants and visitors. Collaboration with the Iran International Exhibitions Co. also allowed for a more organized and expanded setup, including the use of outdoor spaces.
A notable feature of this year's exhibition is the launch of two virtual platforms, including an AI-powered company locator and a digital exhibition for those unable to attend in person.
The four-day event runs from May 8 to May 11 at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds, open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
