Following an explosion near Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, Mohammad Ali Mojtahedzadeh said, "This incident is unrelated to the Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery and has not disrupted its operations or production."

He added, "The refinery’s activities are continuing as usual, with production and distribution of petroleum products proceeding without interruption."

In a statement, the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) also confirmed: "The explosion is not connected to refineries, fuel storage facilities, distribution networks, or pipelines operated by the NIORDC in the region. Operations at facilities in the Bandar Abbas area continue uninterrupted. Additionally, emergency and firefighting equipment from all oil companies in the region are on standby and assisting port and maritime authorities in managing the incident."
