Hassan Abbaszadeh, accompanied by senior executives of the NPC, inspected the progress of petrochemical industry development projects in the Makoran region on Wednesday.
During his visit, Abbaszadeh met with officials from Tose'e Negin Makran, Badr Shargh, Sina Energy Gostar, and Bakhtar Holding to discuss the latest status of petrochemical projects in the region.
He also toured several projects, including Kimia Sanat, Mabna, Badr Shargh, Sina Polyolefin, infrastructure and utility projects at Negin Makran Petrochemical, the methanol and water transfer pipeline, the water intake and desalination project, Shahid Beheshti Pier, and the storage tanks at Negin Makran.
The third hub of the country's petrochemical industry, located in Chabahar, is part of the Makran Petrochemical Complex within the Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone.
It includes projects for urea ammonia, methanol, methanol ammonia, various olefins, aromatics, MEG, MTP, and melamine crystal, all managed by Tose'e Negin Makoran Petrochemical Company.
