Gas supply from South Pars refinery to national pipeline increases

SHANA (Tehran) – The manager of the first refinery of South Pars announced that gas delivery to the national pipeline from this facility has increased to 40 million cubic meters per day, thanks to innovative efforts by the refinery's specialists and staff.

Ali Ahmadi stated that through innovative measures by the employees and experts at the first refinery, along with receiving 14 million cubic meters of gas daily for 25 days from the second refinery of South Pars, gas transfer to the national pipeline rose from 26 million to 40 million cubic meters per day.

Highlighting the first refinery's role in ensuring stable gas supply for the country, Ahmadi emphasized that the facility has played a significant part in maintaining sustainable gas production during winter and ensuring public comfort.

This has been achieved by leveraging employee expertise and maximizing equipment capacity to meet the strategic goals of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Gas Company.

Ahmadi added that since the refinery's establishment, gas injection into the national pipeline has averaged around 26 million cubic meters per day.

He noted that the strategic units and equipment at the first South Pars refinery operate at the highest standards and are fully prepared for maximum gas production and the generation of by-products.
