Abbas Mohseni Nikou-Goftar stated that the increase was achieved through innovative and technological measures, aligning with the directives of the Leader to enhance collaboration with the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company.
The company has optimized and expanded its motor gasoline production by utilizing the idle capacity of its isomerization unit and purchasing light naphtha from the Persian Gulf Star Refinery.
The official noted that if the supply of light naphtha from the Persian Gulf Star Refinery continues, the daily production of motor gasoline will increase by more than 1 million liters.
He emphasized that effective resource management reduces the need for fuel imports. Recently, the company, representing Iran’s oil refining industry, has held several meetings with the transportation sector to promote fuel conservation, optimal management, and efficient use of resources.
If this trend continues, Iran will not only eliminate the need for gasoline imports but also become an exporter of this strategic product.
