In its statement, the NIOPDC said:
"Given the inherent risks of LPG, the specific conditions of the storage tanks, and the location of the leak, a precise assessment of the incident and potential scenarios was conducted. Initial efforts focused on controlling the fire and securing the area to ensure the normal distribution of liquid gas from other tanks and loading sites could continue.
Simultaneously, necessary measures to control and fully extinguish the fire, followed by securing the facilities, were carried out through the round-the-clock efforts of firefighting, rescue, operational, engineering, and security teams. The fire was completely extinguished by 1:30 p.m. today, and immediate steps were taken to secure the containers.
During the response to this incident, excellent coordination was achieved with the participation of oil companies located in the Rey Energy Zone, as well as military, law enforcement, rescue, and executive bodies, including the provincial governor's office, Tehran and Baqershahr fire departments, the Water and Waste Water Company, the Crisis Management Organization, the Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Tharallah Headquarters, the Basij, and other entities.
While thanking all those involved in the operation to control the incident, the causes and factors of the accident are being investigated by a specialized team."
