The plant is designed to process salty crude oil from the Ahvaz oilfield, increasing and maintaining the capacity to process 110,000 barrels per day of salty crude oil.
A key focus of the project is improving the quality of processed crude oil to fully comply with export and refinery standards.
The project, valued at 58.7 million euros, has created 180 direct jobs and 400 indirect jobs. Over 85% of the equipment used in the project was domestically manufactured, while 100% of the engineering, construction, and commissioning services were provided by local companies.
Upon completion, the plant will enhance the separation of oil and water, ensuring industrial wastewater meets environmental standards. This initiative aims to reduce pollution caused by industrial wastewater.
