Speaking on Saturday during a meeting with current and former members of the Islamic Association of University Instructors, President Masoud Pezeshkian identified imbalances as one of the country’s pressing issues.
He stated that the misalignment between resources and consumption, coupled with mismanagement in distribution and improper use, has emerged as a significant challenge.
"The government has planned initiatives to promote adherence to consumption patterns and address this issue," Pezeshkian said.
The president also highlighted government efforts to enhance domestic synergy and foster international cooperation. “The achievements we see today in various sectors have been possible through unity and collaboration among the three branches of government. Without coordination and solidarity, we cannot make progress, and we emphasize the continuation of this approach,” he noted.
Expressing appreciation for the input of university professors on national issues, Pezeshkian added, “We value your thoughtful insights, but we urge you to translate these suggestions into actionable and practical solutions. While our time and resources are limited, with the university's support, we can resolve many issues within our scope during this limited timeframe.”
