NIGC: Residential sector consumption makes up 70% of gas supplied to network

SHANA (Tehran) – The spokesperson for the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) announced that 70% of the gas delivered to the national network on Sunday was consumed by the residential, commercial, and small industrial sectors, marking a 25% increase compared to the same period last year.

Iran Gas Consumption at 238 bcm in 1400

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) announced a 5 billion cubic meters increase in natural gas consumption of the country in the calendar year of 1400 which ended on March 20 compared to the preceding year.

Unprecedented Rise in Gas Consumption

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The deputy director of the dispatching center of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) called the amount of gas consumption in the domestic sector in November unprecedented, and said: “Gas consumption in the domestic sector has reached the highest figure in the last five years, reaching 490 million cubic meters per day.”

Iran Daily Gas Consumption Exceeds 700 mcm

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The dispatching director of the National Iranian Gas Company announced that the daily gas consumption of the country had reached 707 million cubic meters.
