Speaking during a ceremony to officially inaugurate the two oil fields via videoconference in southwestern province of Khuzestan, the president said several significant projects implemented by Iran’s competent engineers and consultants were put into operation today.

He added what is being done by the Iranian experts in the oil and gas fields to boost production and gather flare gases to prevent the wastage of national wealth has brought the country honor, as Iran’s APG collection research and projects received the GECF Award for Long-Term Commitment to Natural Gas in 2024 on the sidelines of the 7th Gas Exporting Countries Forum Summit of Heads of State and Government in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, last week.

Raeisi also urged the oil officials to utilize the industry’s capacities to create job opportunities in Khuzestan Province.
