ICOFC to Enhance Oil Production from Dehloran Field

TEHRAN (Shana) – The Iranian Central Oil Fields Company has planned to boost the production capacity of Dehloran oil field by the end of the current calendar year to March 2021 with the launch and repair of new wells.

According to the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Ramin Hatami, the CEO of ICOFC, said the output of Deholoran oil field was expected to rise once new wells came online by March 2021.

He said the average daily production of Dehloran joint field in the first half of the current calendar year had increased by about 10,000 barrels compared to last calendar year, adding the field’s output is expected to rise even more once new wells become operational.

Regarding the amount of oil and gas production in the West Oil and Gas Production Company in the first 6 months of this year, he said: “In this period, the company recovered a total of 12.7 million barrels of oil from Cheshmeh Khosh, Danan, Dehloran, Sarkan, Malehkuh fields, Naftshahr and Somar; it also produced about 967 million cubic meters of gas from Tang Bijar field during the same period.”

West Oil and Gas Production Company is one of the subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, whose field of activity includes the provinces of Kermanshah, Ilam, parts of northern Khuzestan and Lorestan, with its headquarters in Kermanshah.
