Project kicked off to Collect APG in Dehloran

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The project to collect associated petroleum gases (APG) and build a gas pressure station with over €125 million of investment has been awarded to an Iranian company.

According to the Central Iranian Oil Fields Company, the project has been launched with the aim of maximizing productivity in joint fields and preventing the burning of APG by 82 million cubic feet per day.

Ramin Hatami, the CEO of Central Iranian Oil Fields Company, said the project was being launched as the last piece of the feedstock supply chain to the 3,100 LPG Plant.

He said the project was being developed under an EPCF contract with a local firm, adding, "All stages of financing, procurement, installation and commissioning of the project will be done by an Iranian company in a period of 23 months."

According to him, one of the most important final products resulting from the implementation of the project will be light gas aimed for injection in Cheshmeh Khosh oil reservoir and the country's national gas distribution network, as well as production of valuable gas condensates to supply feedstock to Dehloran Petrochemical Plant.
