Saeid Tavakoli said in remarks to Shana that thanks to the efforts of employees across the entire chain from production to distribution, the national gas network is operating with good stability.
He said consumption is expected to exceed 685 million cubic meters in the household, commercial and small industrial sectors, noting that network pressure remains adequate across all regions.
Tavakoli urged consumers to use gas efficiently to ensure sufficient pressure for all subscribers nationwide and to prevent any pressure drops, particularly at the far ends of the network.
Referring to winter consumption forecasts, and last year’s record of 703 million cubic meters of gas use in the household and commercial sectors, Tavakoli said the record could be repeated this year. From the start of Dey through the eighth day of the month, average consumption in those sectors rose by about 34 million cubic meters, which he described as a significant increase.
