Salari said his refinery had performed its role, as mother refinery in the region, well by increasing supply of feedstock to the second and fifth refineries of the POGC up to 3.413 billion cubic meters.
He said statistics available show that the gas supplied to the second refinery, grew by 18 percent and to the fifth refinery by 23 percent by October 21, compared to that in the same period the previous year.
He added that by October 21, the fourth refinery supplied 987 million cubic meters of gas to the first refinery, 1.241 billion cubic meters to the second refinery and 1.048 billion cubic meters to the fifth refinery.
The official said that in the first seven months of this year, about three percent fall was observed in gas consumption.
