2-Month Condensate Output of Refinery at 1.8mb

TEHRAN, July 02 (Shana) -- Parsian Gas Refinery processed 1.8 million barrels of natural-gas condensate in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 20.

Managing director of the refinery told Shana that the plant stores its condensate output in four 18,000-cubic meter storage tanks before delivering it through a 10-inch pipeline to Assalouyeh, south of Iran, for export.

Farshid Abdali Dehdezi said the plant also processed 4.57 billion cubic meters of natural gas during the same period and injected it to the national gas distribution network.

Parsian Refinery receives 46% of its feedstock from Tabnak, 11% from Varavi and 43% from Homa-Shanoul gas fields.

The plant is estimated to treat 25bcm of gas by the end of the current calendar year.

The refinery can process 82 mcm/d of natural gas and is the third biggest gas refinery in the country by supplying the gas consumed in the provinces of Fars, Yazd, Isfahan, Qom and parts of Tehran, the capital.
