Farhad Shahraki said the fuel allocation was made following coordination between the Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Agriculture to meet seasonal demand in the agricultural sector.
He said the allocation will help sustain farming operations during the peak cultivation season and represents a significant step in supporting agricultural production.
Earlier, Alireza Abbasi, deputy chairman of the Parliament's Agriculture Committee, said there is no shortage of fuel for the agricultural sector. He said continued cooperation between the ministries of Oil and Agriculture will ensure adequate fuel supplies to support farming activities and safeguard the country's food security.
