Oil facilities to be rebuilt in shortest time under Oil Ministry management

SHANA (Tehran) – The spokesperson for Parliament’s Economic Committee said damaged oil facilities will be rebuilt and returned to production as quickly as possible through the management of the oil industry and cooperation between the government and parliament.

Hakem Mamakan, speaking on the sidelines of a meeting with the CEO and managers of the National Iranian Oil Company, said that the oil and gas industry, despite numerous challenges, continued operating during attacks, and its workers ensured that oil production, exports and fuel supply were not interrupted.

He said some petrochemical plants and oil and gas facilities sustained damage during the war, but added that, given the management in place across the oil sector, those facilities will be restored and brought back online in the shortest possible time.

The Economic Committee spokesperson emphasized that the performance of oil industry workers during the war demonstrated their full commitment to serving the country and its people.
