Speaking to reporters on Sunday after a meeting between committee members and deputy oil ministers, commission chairman Gholamreza Tajgardoun said lawmakers received a comprehensive report on the latest developments in the country’s oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
He said the reports highlighted the extensive efforts made by oil industry personnel during the recent conflict, noting that the results of those efforts were visible to the public across the country.
Tajgardoun said commission members emphasized their commitment to standing alongside the Oil Ministry in reconstructing damaged facilities and providing any assistance required to accelerate recovery efforts.
“The committee believes that rebuilding this infrastructure has a direct impact on people’s livelihoods,” he said.
He also expressed support for both operational and non-operational employees in the oil sector, saying the commission would work to address their challenges and concerns.
Tajgardoun described the oil industry’s workforce as a vital national asset, adding that their contributions play a significant role in supporting the country’s economy and energy security.
