Speaking at a ceremony marking National Industry and Mining Day, Pezeshkian praised manufacturers for maintaining supplies during the country's recent wartime conditions. He said producers played a key role in preventing shortages despite attacks on energy infrastructure that disrupted electricity supplies.

He said coordinated efforts by the public and government agencies helped manage power consumption and maintain essential services, adding that national unity and cooperation had helped the country withstand the crisis.

Pezeshkian also said government decisions have been guided by the Leader. Referring to negotiations, he said Iran's primary objective was to keep the Strait of Hormuz open for oil exports and address other strategic issues, while accusing the opposing side of failing to uphold its commitments. He said Iran achieved results that exceeded expectations and managed multiple challenges in a short period.

Addressing concerns over electricity shortages, Pezeshkian said reliable energy remains one of the most critical requirements for industrial production. He pledged that the government would work to prevent power outages at manufacturing facilities and convene meetings as soon as possible to address the issue.

"If there is a shortage, industrial power should not be cut," Pezeshkian said, adding that the government is aware of producers' challenges and that public solidarity has strengthened the country's economic and social resilience.
