GIO commends Oil Ministry for  management of fuel during wartime

SHANA (Tehran) – The General Inspection Organization of Iran (GIO) has commended the Ministry of Oil for its performance in managing fuel supply and distribution during the recent imposed war, particularly throughout the third phase of the conflict.

Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, in a meeting with Chief Inspector General Zabihollah Khodaeian, reviewed bilateral cooperation between the ministry and the inspection body and outlined the ministry’s actions during the wartime period.

Paknejad emphasized the need to continue full implementation of laws and to enhance administrative integrity across the ministry.

Khodaeian praised the ministry’s effective management of fuel supply and distribution, especially during peak Nowruz travel and under wartime conditions. He also stressed the importance of sustaining such “smart management” and adopting necessary measures to address potential future crises.

Referring to the exceptional circumstances caused by the war, Khodaeian underscored the organization’s full support for the Oil Ministry, noting that beyond its supervisory role, the inspection body acts as a supportive arm in advancing the country’s strategic energy objectives.
