New, strategic Oil Ministry decisions support employee home ownership

SHANA (Tehran) – The deputy for management and human capital development at the Oil Ministry emphasized diagnosing housing-related challenges for eligible active and retired employees under the ministry's housing plan, stating the process to form the Oil Ministry Housing Cooperative has been completed.

Sediqeh Khazaei, referring to the conducted review and diagnosis in the housing sector for eligible active and retired employees under the Oil Ministry's housing savings plan, clarified: "A significant portion of oil industry employees' monthly income is consumed by housing costs. Therefore, to accelerate home ownership for eligible active and retired personnel, it was decided to pursue housing plans using supportive tools such as forming a housing cooperative."

She added: "This cooperative has been formed at the national level for all eligible active and retired members to act as the executive agent for implementing the housing plan's bylaws."

The deputy for management and human capital development at the Oil Ministry stressed that further information in this regard will be provided by the relevant officials.
