Iran’s official oil prices for May announced

SHANA (Tehran) – The National Iranian Oil Company has set the official selling prices (OSP) for its crude oil in May 2025.

For Asian customers, Iranian Light crude will be priced at $1.65 per barrel above the benchmark Oman/Dubai crude average. Meanwhile, Iranian Heavy and Forozan Blend crude will be sold at 35 cents and 10 cents below the benchmark, respectively.

In Northwest Europe and South Africa, Iranian Light crude will be priced $1.35 above North Sea Brent, while Iranian Heavy crude will trade at 45 cents below Brent. Forozan Blend will be priced 35 cents lower than Brent in these markets.

In the Mediterranean market, Iranian Heavy and Forozan Blend will be sold at 85 cents and 80 cents below Brent, respectively, while Iranian Light crude will be priced $1.25 above Brent.

NIOC’s international affairs division releases monthly pricing for the country’s crude oil exports.
