Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said that the oil industry staffs of various sectors support the Iranian establishment, noting that a number of the Iranian suffer some livelihood troubles that should be addressed.

The minister went on to say that as the officials of Iran, we should make all of our efforts to solve the challenges of people.

What we witnessed in recent days is not protest, said Paknejad adding that it was riot and ravages. People do not destroy their own properties, and don’t kill other people. The individuals who shot the people, under the protest cover, are in association with the projects of rooted abroad.

Explaining on the recent conditions of crude oil sell, the minister stated that the country’s crude export process continues as in the past. He avoided on more explanation on exports mechanism of Iran.

In order to minimize the negative impacts of restrictions that Iranian oil exports are facing, Paknejad said the country develops some measures to counter the challenges for buyers.

The minister dismissed the claims on refraining the return of petrodollars to Iran by trustees under the 14th administration, saying that trustees are not formed in recent year. The Islamic Republic of Iran has exported some parts of its crude oil via trustees.

No halt in fuel supply

Talking on fuel supply in emergency states, the minister said as it is planned to supply fuel across the country, the planning implementation is in a way that is robust to crisis, and consequently the people face no problem as we saw during the 12-day war and recent days.

He said the fuel supply is a process that entire chains of oil industry are engaged with. The National Iranian Oil Company, National Petrochemical Company, National Iranian Gas Company and the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company work in a harmony with a proper steering to see no problem in fuel storages.

Snapback and tariffs cannot impose any new restrictions, the oil minister said concluding that Iran enjoys a professional team for selling its crude oil which is dealing with the conditions since years ago and they know the ways to neutralize the situation.
